Project Coordinator – Offshore Wind Engineering

As our new Project Coordinator, you will be part of our global Offshore Wind Engineering department. You will take on responsibility for coordinating and managing project-related tasks and activities as well as supporting project managers and teams in all organizational and administrative matters as well as day-to-day operations.

Your tasks and responsibilities 

As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will take on diverse tasks and responsibilities in international projects of varied complexity and scale, such as: 

  • Proactively manage and coordinate day-to-day operations of one or multiple projects 
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and other members of multidisciplinary project teams to ensure project goals and objectives are met on schedule, within budget and to satisfaction of all parties involved 
  • Attend and take minutes in internal and external meetings to understand what is being communicated at team level that may impact project work 
  • Coordinate meetings and ensure availability of necessary information for various team members and project management to enable efficient execution 
  • Timely planning of deliverables in accordance with project requirements 
  • Release, monitor, and adjust timetables throughout project phases 
  • Communicate deadlines and related issues to relevant stakeholders 
  • Follow through on non-negotiable requirements and project-specific milestones 
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays; develop solutions as needed 
  • Coordinate and monitor implementation of safety and environmental procedures in relation to projects 
  • Actively and independently assist project manager in determine main goals for each project, including profitability, cash flow, time and resource planning 

 

Your qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Communication or similar / or a very motivated self-starter with a successfully completed commercial apprenticeship  
  • 2-4 years of experience in a project management or administrative role 
  • Experience with large design projects in an international environment, wind or energy industry preferred 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 
  • Experience with MS Project or other project management applications 
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technologies and methodologies that support rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks 
  • Entry-level Project Management Certification (CAPM) level certification is beneficial but not mandatory 
  • Customer oriented approach as well as self-reliant, reliable, detail-oriented, structured way of working  
  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment 
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and make independent decisions  
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all various level of management within the company and with potential clients, suppliers, subcontractors and partners 
  • High integrity and team spirit, proactively engaging with others and offering support when required
