S4Is main focus is plant engineering for hydrogen projects and decarbonization projects on several industries.
Your key responsibilities
- Providing Process engineering expertise to multi-discipline industrial projects from feasibility studies, FEED, detailed design through to construction, commissioning, and handover
- Acting as senior/lead engineer on single discipline projects or sub-projects that are medium to large in size in both a local and international environment
- Working closely with the assigned Project Manager ensuring that quality and deadlines are met
The preferred location is Espoo, but other office locations in Finland can be considered for the right candidate

You will join the Solutions for Industry Department, Finland/Global and will work on interesting projects that will drive the shift toward cleaner energy and a brighter tomorrow
Your key tasks will be:
- Designing efficient and technically sound engineering solutions and supporting technical sales activities
- Leading process engineering within multidisciplinary project teams
- Serving as the primary customer interface for all process engineering matters within projects
- Executing and coordinating process engineering tasks, including piping and instrumentation diagrams, process flow diagrams, calculations, equipment specifications, and process documentation preparation
For this Process Engineer position you ideally have the following background
- M.Sc. or PhD in process engineering
- Working experience within the field of process engineering for at least 6 years, ideally gained in chemical industry, Oil & Gas, power plant business or similar
- Basic competence in Process design tools (e.g. for P&IDs, calculations)
- Previous experience in process industry projects is seen as an advantage (Chemicals, gas transportation, green- and e-fuels, cement, steel, aluminium, pharmaceuticals, electricity production etc.).
- Business fluent in Finnish and English.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions in complex project environments
- Experience with budget management and resource planning and scheduling
