This is an exciting, permanent full-time position for an energetic and efficient Layout Engineer.

About the Role

Your primary role will be to support our global operations in preparation of layout in Feasibility study and project phase, including but not limited to:

• Preparation and updating of 2D and 3D layouts of WtE, Carbon Capture, Biogas and industrial plants using Bentley MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Development of plot plans, equipment layouts, building layouts, sections and general arrangement drawings.
• Support preparation and maintenance of integrated plant models for multidisciplinary coordination.
• Incorporate review comments from project engineers and global teams into layout models and drawings.
• Assist in model coordination, clash identification and space management activities.
• Support preparation and updating of PFDs, P&IDs and associated engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, civil, electrical and C&I disciplines for layout development.
• Participate in layout review meetings and workshops and support closure of review comments.
• Support document control and drawing register management activities for active projects.
• Site visits, if required, and collection of site information required for layout development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software and industry best practices.

The right person for this job will

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-10 years of experience in plant layout engineering, drafting or 3D modelling activities.
• Good English communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience in AutCAD and/or Bentley MicroStation is must
• 3D modeling experience in Auto plant and/or Revit 3D is preferred.
• Exposure to industrial plants, WtE, Thermal Power, Biogas, Energy or Process Industry projects is desirable.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, layouts and modelling principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn multidisciplinary plant design.
• Be diligent, focused and quality conscious.
• Ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural project environment.
• You are systematic and structured in your way of working and have a proactive attitude towards learning and development.
