Paris Lercier

My name is Paris Lercier, and I joined Ramboll's Buildings Structures team in September 2023. In my role, I frequently work with Revit, a CAD software, to deliver comprehensive building information to clients and contractors. Choosing an apprenticeship was a pivotal decision for me. I realised that full-time education wasn't the best path for my learning style, and apprenticeships offered an ideal blend of work-based learning and academic qualification. My journey has been immensely rewarding, and although I faced some challenges at times, I always received the support I needed to overcome them.

Throughout my apprenticeship, especially during preparations for my End Point Assessment, my line manager has been incredibly supportive, organising various sessions to help solidify my knowledge and introduce new concepts that enhance my role. Additionally, my wider team has consistently been available to answer questions and improve my understanding of design and engineering processes. Their support has been crucial in my development.

Joining Ramboll has significantly influenced my career progression by providing opportunities for continued learning. It has enabled me to advance to a Level 6-degree apprenticeship, allowing me to gain my qualification, whilst maintaining financial security throughout. This support has been essential in navigating my career journey and achieving my professional goals.
