An apprenticeship gives me the opportunity to work alongside studying, providing me with a better understanding of what I am learning by relating it to my everyday work, whilst gaining real world experience.
My name is Catarina Cunha and I joined Ramboll in September 2023 as a Building Services Apprentice in electrical engineering.
An apprenticeship gives me the opportunity to work alongside studying, providing me with a better understanding of what I am learning by relating it to my everyday work, whilst gaining real world experience. Since being here, I have gained a lot of experience working with software such as Relux, Revit and AutoCAD, producing multiple reports, drawings, calculations, and a variety of project work.
During my time at Ramboll I have been given a huge amount of support from my colleagues, with the whole team always there and willing to assist. At the same time, I have my manager’s trust to take tasks away to complete on my own, contributing to my role progression and career success.
What I enjoy most about working at Ramboll is the people – having a good manager and team that support you during the journey is crucial to succeeding within the role and completing the apprenticeship.
