Jinko Solar Malaysia appointed Ramboll to conduct a limited Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) study of its Penang solar cell and module manufacturing plant to comply with the lender’s IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles IV requirements.

These activities included baseline data collection and field surveys for river water quality, ambient noise levels and traffic surveys, and more specialised studies such as river water modelling, air quality, and greenhouse gas and social impact assessments.
