Located at 696 Bourke Street in the Victorian capital’s central business district, the office is an important next step for Ramboll in the Asia Pacific with increasing demand from local clients to help them achieve their decarbonisation and net zero goals.

Nick Fellows, Ramboll’s Regional Director, Asia Pacific said he is excited about this next stage of growth in Australia that the Melbourne base represents.

“Australia is a strategic growth area for Ramboll with increasing demand, particularly in the energy and sustainability consulting markets from both local clients, including government, as well as global clients broadening their businesses in the region. We are growing our teams and developing our people. This has set a strong platform for the next phase of our journey,” Mr Fellows said.

The new office opens as Ramboll welcomes its latest local hires Marie Hegot, who started in January 2024, as the company’s Head of Wind Energy, Australia and Dr Reza Yosri, Senior Consultant – Biogas and Waste-to-X.

“There is significant opportunity for Ramboll as the region looks to transform its economy with a focus on renewables infrastructure such as offshore wind. Our new Melbourne office and our ability to attract leading talent such as Marie will help us share Ramboll’s significant international expertise with our Australian clients,” Mr Fellows said.

The office reflects Ramboll’s strong sustainability focus. The Carbon Neutral Certified office is located in the refurbished historic former Mail Exchange building. Its proximity to local amenities encourages the use of public transport and provides a convenient environment focused on the wellbeing of our people.

Ramboll currently has offices in four Australian cities, including Sydney, Perth, Newcastle and Melbourne.
