    Key tasks and Responsibilities

    • Independently manage complex aviation and land development infrastructure projects: Lead the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of aviation and land development projects, ensuring compliance with applicable aviation standards, operational safety requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
    • Development of base models: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop accurate, efficient, and coordinated base models for airside, landside, and associated infrastructure works.
    • Technical leadership and mentoring: Provide technical guidance, strategic direction, and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting their development and strengthening overall team capability.
    • Stormwater network planning: Undertake stormwater demand assessments, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, and design of proposed drainage infrastructure for aviation and land development projects, including airside and landside drainage systems.
    • Runoff assessment and sustainable drainage: Carry out runoff assessments, storm drainage planning, and integration of Sustainable Drainage Systems / SuDS features into drainage networks, while considering airport safety, operational, and maintenance requirements.
    • Hydraulic and hydrological expertise: Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of hydraulic and hydrological engineering principles, including catchment analysis, rainfall-runoff modelling, attenuation, conveyance, and flood risk management.
    • Future network planning: Plan future drainage and utility networks and integrate them with existing airport and land development infrastructure through optioneering, capacity assessment, and strategic planning.
    • Documentation and reporting: Prepare technical reports, design notes, calculations, memos, and presentations, ensuring clear communication of design intent, assumptions, project status, risks, and technical findings.
    • Coordination with project teams: Work closely with Project Managers, Assistant Engineers, Technical Managers, and global design teams to deliver high-quality design calculations, drawings, models, and technical outputs.
