Senior Product Designer (UX/UI): Shape the interface and design system of Peoplexact

We're reshaping the visual identity of Peoplexact, and we need a Senior Product Designer with strong UI skills and systems thinking to help bring it to life for our customers.

We are on a mission to turn insights into action, helping organisations across the Nordics and Europe improve the lives of their stakeholders. As a product organisation inside Ramboll, we embrace empowered product teams, product trios, outcomes and continuous discovery.

If you love shaping complex data into intuitive and appealing insights, and you care just as much about the thinking before the pixels, the problem space as well as the solution space, we'd like to meet you.

Your role in the product team

As a Product Designer, you'll play a central role in your product team, understanding users' needs, pains and desires as we define, design and refine our digital SaaS products. Day to day, you'll work closely with the Product Manager and a Tech Lead (your product trio), and your pear Product Designer and a team of Software Engineers, while also engaging with subject matter experts and our sales and customer success colleagues.

You'll join an experienced Peoplexact product designer, and your edge in UI, visual quality and interaction craft will complement the existing strength in the team's design capability.

Become part of the Design Guild and Stakeholder Intelligence Tech

Beyond your product team, you'll be part of the Design Guild, a strong professional community of practice currently made up of eight designers with varying skills and experience across our products. We support each other through design critique, sparring, knowledge sharing and joint efforts such as our discovery practice and our Design Foundation & Guidelines (design system). As part of a growing Tech organisation of more than 50 developers and designers, you'll work in an agile environment with plenty of room to learn and develop, among product managers, designers, engineers and domain experts.

AI is a strategic focus for us, and we are actively exploring how it can strengthen design and discovery, from research to UI. We’d love a colleague who is curious to help shape that journey with us.

    What we are looking for

We value designers who are creative, collaborative and genuinely interested in the whole design process. Specifically, we're looking for someone who:

    • Thrives when balancing user needs, business goals and technical feasibility, shaping them into intuitive, appealing interactions

    • Has a strength in UI and visual design, including experience of building a design system used across multiple product teams

    • Has experience with conducting product discovery including user research

    • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a product organisation.

After a year, you will know you are succeeding if you...

    • Are a well-integrated part of the product team, collaborating on innovative, high-quality solutions that

    • are bringing superior value to our customers, reflected in adoption and satisfaction data from users.

    • Have lifted the visual and interaction quality of Peoplexact with our new visual identity.

    • are driving the process from insight, ideation and prototyping through user testing to implementation and follow-up.

    • Have actively participated in shaping our Design Foundation & Guidelines into a focused, maintainable set of components and patterns that the team relies on every day.

    What we offer

This is a permanent, full-time position, on-site in Aarhus. Among many great things at Ramboll, we offer:

    • A modern product organisation with empowered teams, continuous discovery and influence on the product

    • Professional sparring and learning among peer designers, and support for your personal and professional development from day one.

    • A foundation-owned company with a clear purpose to create a better world.

    • A strong community with social events in a dynamic environment.

    • Attractive lunch scheme in Aarhus' perhaps best canteen.

    How to apply

Apply online. Attach your CV, your portfolio and a motivational application, showcasing why you're the right person for this role. We receive many applications, so to be considered we urge that you:

    • can showcase a strong portfolio with polished UI and interaction design, alongside relevant user-centred processes.

    • understand, speak and write Danish, minimum CEFR B1, preferably B2 or higher.

    • can work on-site in Aarhus, Denmark at minimum 3 days a week.

To be sure your application is considered, we need it before we start calling in for interviews on Wednesday the 30th of September 2026. We expect the successful candidate to start on 1st of November or 1st of December 2026.

If you'd like to know more about the position, you're welcome to contact Head of Product Design Sune Jeppesen on mobile 22 55 51 66. We look forward to seeing how you can help us shape the future of digital Saas products.

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
