The Piping Engineer – BIM, Data Center will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing BIM models for complex piping systems on mission-critical Data Center projects. The role requires extensive expertise in Revit MEP, piping layouts, multidisciplinary BIM coordination, clash detection, construction documentation, and digital project delivery from Concept Design through IFC and Construction Support.

The engineer will work closely with Mechanical, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, Architectural, Process and BIM teams to ensure coordinated, constructible, and clash-free designs for hyperscale Data Centers.

This role is intended for a piping-focused BIM specialist, not a mechanical designer. The ideal candidate should be capable of modelling and coordinating thousands of meters of complex piping systems in large hyperscale data center campuses while ensuring clash-free, construction-ready BIM deliverables.

    • Construction Support - Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, update BIM models during construction, coordinate with site teams, resolve installation issues, support prefabrication activities, verify as-built conditions and assist commissioning teams.
    • Quality Assurance - Ensure BIM accuracy, model integrity, LOD compliance, drawing quality, project standards, client BIM requirements, revision control, naming conventions and QA/QC compliance through regular model audits.
    • Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 6 to 10 years of experience in BIM piping design.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience on Data Center or Mission Critical projects preferred.
    • Technical Expertise - Strong experience in BIM modelling of piping systems for Data Centers, Industrial Plants, District Cooling Plants, Pharmaceutical Facilities, Semiconductor Facilities or Oil & Gas projects.
    • Extensive knowledge of piping layouts, pipe routing, supports, equipment connections, plant room coordination, underground utilities, pipe sizing principles, constructability and multidisciplinary coordination.
    • Software & Digital Capability - Autodesk Revit MEP (Expert), AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM Collaborate Pro, Dynamo (Preferred), BIM 360, Microsoft Office.
    • Communication & Coordination - Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, participate in BIM coordination meetings, manage project priorities and work under demanding project schedules.
