Ramboll earns top marks in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index

We are proud to share that we achieved a score of 100 on the 2025 Human Rights Campaign Foundation's (HRCF) Corporate Equality Index (CEI) – the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies, practices, and benefits related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.

Ramboll is proud to share that we achieved a score of 100 on the 2025 Human Rights Campaign Foundation's (HRCF) Corporate Equality Index – the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies, practices, and benefits related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. Ramboll joins the more than 765 businesses that also received HRCF's Equality 100 award. In total, this year’s CEI included 1,449 companies – the highest number of rated companies since the start of the CEI in 2002.

“We are honored to be listed among this prestigious group of companies dedicated to creating safe and inclusive workplaces for the LGBTQ+ community,” says Cheryl Ginyard-Jones, Managing Director, Americas. “At Ramboll, we aim every day to foster a workplace where everyone has an opportunity to thrive and feels that they belong. We are committed to continuing to support our diverse workforce, continually growing our understanding and evolving our approach to equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging.”

Adds, Cathy Flores, Head of Americas Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion: "Since our first submission in 2021, we've continually worked to improve upon our policies, practices, and benefits through concrete actions over the last several years. We are proud to be recognized for LGBTQ+ workplace equality and to see the positive impact of our efforts on the broader Ramboll community.”

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our LGBTQ+ employee network group, the Pride Network. They’ve led our HRC CEI efforts from the beginning and have championed many of the programs and benefits that earned us a 100, including our LGBTQ+ benefits guide and our philanthropy.

“It’s exciting to see that the Pride Network has helped spark inclusive practices across Ramboll," says Mia Sosa, co-lead of the Pride Network. "Through our participation in the Corporate Equality Index, Ramboll demonstrates a clear commitment to inclusion in the workplace and that LGBTQ+ identities are protected and celebrated here. For me, the strongest impact is hearing feedback from my fellow employees about how these efforts improve their sense of belonging and pride in their workplace.”

About the HRC CEI

The CEI rates employers providing these crucial protections to more than 22 million U.S. workers and includes Fortune magazine’s 500 largest publicly traded businesses, American Lawyer magazine’s top 200 revenue-grossing law firms (AmLaw 200), and hundreds of publicly and privately held mid- to large-sized businesses.

“At its core, the work of the CEI is about understanding, commitment and compassion – it doesn’t happen overnight. Since the start of this work 22 years ago, we’ve seen drastic shifts in corporate America towards more equitable and inclusive working conditions, family formation and healthcare benefits, and nondiscrimination protections,” said HRCF President Kelley Robinson.

The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria falling under four central pillars:

  • Non-discrimination policies across business entities
  • Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families
  • Supporting an inclusive culture
  • Corporate social responsibility
