You will become part of our Aviation team
As our new Project Manager, you will become part of a dedicated international aviation team. We work primarily within the fields of planning, design and maintenance of airside infrastructure in Denmark and internationally. We have sister departments in the UK and India, with whom we collaborate on projects in most parts of the world. You will become part of a diverse, international department, which works on airport projects throughout the full project cycle – from planning, through concept and detailed design to construction. Your future colleagues have strong experience within Master Planning, Geometric Design, Pavement Design, AGL Design, preparation of tender documents, construction supervision and maintenance of airside assets.
Your most important tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Project Manager for airside projects in Denmark and abroad,
- Preparing and conducting project meetings/workshops with our Clients, both in Ramboll’s offices and in the Client’s offices,
- Coordinating inputs from different project disciplines,
- Coordinating resources,
- Developing and maintaining great Client relationships,
- Participating in or leading proposal preparation
- Formulating and communicating feedback to project team members, to contribute to maintaining a high level of quality in the department,
- Acting as a role model for our less experienced colleagues
About you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within engineering, with a focus on civil works or similar
- 15+ years of experience with civil works projects (airport design, road design or similar)
- Experience as Design Manager and/or Project Manager
- Knowledge of airport projects and/or airport operations
- Experience with complex multidisciplinary civil works projects
- Proactive and dedicated
- Excellent communication skills – English and Danish at a professional level is required; additional language skills are a plus
- Knowledge of and previous use of relevant design standards (ICAO, EASA, BL) is a plus
To succeed in the position, it is important that you are a good communicator, and that you handle different stakeholders better than most. Moreover, it is paramount that you work independently, with enthusiasm and with proactivity. It is expected that you will actively contribute to the further development of the department through guiding the less experienced colleagues as well as through actively seeking out new projects through dialogue with Clients and your network.
