Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at Ramboll

Ramboll’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion stems directly from our mission:

“To create sustainable societies where people and nature flourish”. Our core strength is our people. We respect, embrace, and invite diversity in all its forms, while focusing on creating an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.”

People are our core strength

At Ramboll, our mission is to create sustainable societies where people and nature flourish. This means that a culture of inclusion is embedded in everything we do — from our global commitments to our strategy and Leadership Principles. As a company with a history rooted in a clear vision of how a responsible company should act, fostering a culture of inclusion, celebrating diversity, and supporting well-being are not just how we act but who we are.

Our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion stems directly from our mission.

We believe everyone has the right to flourish. This belief extends beyond our organisation to the solutions we deliver:

For Clients: We create value by solving complex challenges with sustainable, forward- thinking solutions.

For People: We offer a modern, inclusive workplace where individuals can grow, contribute, and thrive.

For Society: We promote livability, economic opportunity, and social cohesion through resilient, sustainable environments.

For Company: We adhere to our values, and our behavior is guided by our Global Commitment and Code of Conduct.

Actions to meet gender targets

Advancing opportunity in STEM

Ramboll works to meet gender targets by advancing equal opportunity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), by creating inclusive pathways and environments where everyone thrives. This includes: engineering mentorship and STEM school programmes in India; safety and inclusion workshops in the UK; and participating in Girls’ Day in Science and Science Cup in Denmark. We also collaborate with Into University, and Hunter WiSE to support diverse pathways into STEM careers.
