Position Summary:

You will join our Towers and Telecom department

As our new Assistant Manager,  you will be part of our dynamic and highly motivated team that solves technical challenging and interesting tasks on a broad range of areas across steel and concrete structures. You will in a close and constructive manner collaborate with colleagues about design of wind-affected structures such as masts and towers.

Design and optimize transmission towers to deliver cost-effective and efficient structural solutions while meeting project and industry standards.
 

Education : UG - BE / B.Tech (Civil Engineering).
: PG - ME / M.Tech (Civil Engineering).
Industry : Transmission lines/Construction/Engineering.
Functional Area : Engineering Design,
Job Description :
• 10 to 12 Years experience in Leading the Power Transmission Design Projects – Tendering,
Design and Type testing for Transmission line Towers & Monopoles, Substation structures and
foundations.
• Candidate should be conversant with Tower & monopole design standards like IS-802, IEC-826
and ASEC standards.
• Candidate should be capable of developing sag-tension calculations, loading and wind load
calculations and design as per standard requirements.
• Candidate is required to develop complete tower design as per client specifications.
• Should have experience of detailing coordination & drawings checking, tower testing procedure
and tower spotting.
• Expert Knowledge of software’ PLS tower, PLS pole, STAAD and AutoCAD are essential required.
• Knowledge on software’s iTowersTL is also preferred.

Focus on tower weight optimization to deliver cost-effective and efficient structural designs with
meeting the requirements from standards and project specifications.
• Review of structural analysis reports, tower loading calculations, Sag-Tension calculations, GA
(General Arrangement) drawings, and fabrication drawings
• Should have knowledge of fabrication drawings, tower testing procedure and tower spotting.
• Mentoring, coaching, and developing junior and mid-level designers/engineers to foster technical
excellence
• Should be reporting to the Project In charge/ Respective Team Leader.
• Ownership responsibility on the assigned work is required.
Software skills : Expert Knowledge of PLS Tower, PLS Pole, STAAD. Pro, iTowers, Autocad
