Mark Mejac has over 28 years of environmental consulting experience, which includes subsurface investigation, evaluation and implementation of innovative and cost-effective soil and groundwater remediation technologies, and groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling. He has directed remedial technology selection and implemented site solutions including hydraulically enhanced anaerobic bioremediation and electro-thermal remediation at a variety of industrial facilities impacted with chlorinated volatile organic compounds. His contaminant transport modeling experience has included demonstrations of zero impact at groundwater receptor locations downgradient of large-scale landfill sites. Mark has provided litigation support and expert witness testimony in matters related to estimating contaminant travel time, and participated in public hearings related to contaminated sites. He holds an MS in geology from Northern Illinois University and a BS in geological sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and is a licensed professional geologist in Wisconsin and Illinois.
