With a focus on excellence and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join us as the Design Engineer – Highways for our domestic transportation business at Mumbai Office. 

As the Design Engineer – Highways, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our transportation infrastructure projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the delivery of projects. 

Responsibilities 

As a design engineer, your key responsibilities will be: 

• To carry out detailed engineering or tender designs for various type of road projects. 

• To prepare calculation reports, technical specifications and quantity take-offs and provide input for design drawings during all phases of projects. 

• To coordinate with team members and ensure delivery of projects within specified timeframe. 

• To perform QA checks on the designs and drawings produced to ensure quality delivery. 

• Master’s degree in transportation/highway engineering. 

• About 3-6 years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects with a proven record of successful detailed design project delivery. 

• Strong knowledge of IRC codes and MorTH standards. Knowledge of DMRB/AASHTO/any other international standards would be desirable. 

• Hands on experience in using software like OpenRoads, Civil3D and AutoCAD etc. 

• Structured working style with result-oriented approach 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. 

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
