You will be involved in the design, coordination, and delivery of robust power infrastructure, ensuring reliability, compliance, and operational excellence across the full project lifecycle.

    What You’ll Do

    • Design and specify electrical systems for data centres and buildings, including 132kV and 33kV substations, 415V systems, generators, UPS, and ELV systems.
    • Prepare detailed design documentation, calculations, and drawings for statutory and authority submissions.
    • Participate in client, consultant, site, and technical coordination meetings.
    • Provide project management support and oversee construction supervision activities.
    • Review and evaluate contractors’ technical submissions, including equipment, materials, and drawings.
    • Conduct site inspections to ensure installations comply with approved designs and standards.
    • Witness testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
    • Collaborate closely with clients’ project teams and multidisciplinary consultants to ensure coordinated and compliant design delivery.
    • Carry out any additional duties as assigned from time to time.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering accredited and recognised by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
    • Must be legally eligible to work in Malaysia.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience with M&E consultancy firms.
    • Strong working knowledge of Malaysian codes, standards, and statutory regulations.
    • Proficient in engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and ETAP simulation software.
    • Demonstrated project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
    • Positive, proactive work attitude with strong accountability and initiative.
    • Able to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment.
    • Passionate about translating design concepts into high‑quality built installations and validating performance through testing.
    • Enjoys hands-on involvement in site activities, testing, and commissioning works.
    • Experience in the data centre industry is highly advantageous.
    • Candidates with extensive experience, advanced technical expertise, or additional professional qualifications—such as Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC)—may be considered for a senior or leadership role.
