Jose Sananes has 15 years of experience in geo-environmental engineering, with particular emphasis in the areas of remedial engineering, sediment engineering, landfill engineering, brownfields redevelopment, construction management and solid and hazardous waste management. He has conducted investigations and designed and implemented remedial systems for soil, groundwater, soil-gas and sediments at numerous sites under a variety of federal and state regulatory programs. His remedial and landfill engineering experience spans from the assessment and characterization of sites to the control and redevelopment of brownfields and the generation of green house gas (GHG) emission reductions and credits. He earned an MS in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, and a BS in civil and environmental engineering from Rutgers University.
