Ashish Deshmukh PhD, MBA advises clients on product safety and regulatory compliance matters. For over 20 years, he has provided strategic and technical guidance to businesses for managing regulatory risks associated with industrial chemicals, food contact substances, and antimicrobials. His specialized experience comprises pre-market approvals for new chemical products, audits under USEPA’s Audit and New Owner Policies, and expert support for complex regulatory issues. He is equally experienced in collaborating with attorneys, corporations, startups, and regulators. He earned his MS (organic chemistry) from Purdue University, PhD (environmental chemistry) and MBA degrees from The Ohio State University, and was a postdoctoral scholar at Princeton University. Ashish is a member of the American Chemical Society, the Product Stewardship Society, and Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society. With several publications on product stewardship and environmental chemistry to his credit, Ashish presents regularly at conferences on issues of interest to technical and non-technical audiences.
