Emiliano has more than 20 years’ experience in environmental health and safety (EHS) sciences and management. His expertise lies in risk and project management, EHS compliance auditing, regulatory advocacy, EHS and sustainability reporting, safety culture change and operational EHS management. A former corporate EHS executive, he has extensive experience across a broad range of industries, including oil and gas, energy, chemical, pharmaceutical, glass, metallurgy, metal manufacturing and large infrastructure. Emiliano has managed complex environmental permitting processes, decommissioning projects and pollution prevention plans, and has a proven track record of managing motivational health and safety culture training and development programmes. Emiliano holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from the University of Rome and an International General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (IGC) under NEBOSH. He is an accredited health and safety professional and a registered health and safety trainer. Since 2014, he has been a lecturer of risk management at the University of Verona.
