Scott W. Tarmann has over 23 years of experience in managing environmental and civil design projects, with particular emphasis on the application of remedial investigation, feasibility studies, remedial system performance evaluation, groundwater modeling and remedial action design under Superfund, RCRA and state cleanup programs. His work has included the design of in situ and ex situ remediation technologies to address organic and inorganic contaminants in soil and groundwater. His focus on site remediation has been primarily with technological applications involving enhanced in situ bioremediation, in situ solidification/stabilization, soil vapor extraction, vapor intrusion mitigation, in situ thermal remediation, in situ chemical oxidation, hydraulic containment/control technologies and permeable reactive barriers. Scott’s experience with managing environmental remediation projects has included clients in the steel manufacturing industry, the pulp and paper industry, manufacturing business, gas and electric power industry, and the petroleum sector.
