Dr. Martina Vosteen holds a PhD in chemistry and has over 20 years of experience as a consulting chemist and has managed hundreds of product and environmental liability risk assessments, particularly for the chemical, pharmaceutical, medical devices and food industries. She is experienced in product related regulatory support including registration of chemicals, biocides and cosmetics for international operating companies. Martina is part of Ramboll’s COVID-19 expert group. She has an excellent knowledge of EU and US pharmaceutical regulations, from clinical studies to approval. She is familiar with the FDA, EMA and WHO databases on drugs adverse reactions, enforcement reports, audits and drug safety communications. Her REACH consultancy work focuses on the technical advice to manufacturers and downstream-users regarding the compliance and requirements of REACH. She managed several lead registrant dossiers for international chemical industry companies and was responsible for the full dossier preparation including corporate social responsibility (CSR) (development and assessment of exposure scenarios with CHESAR, ECETOC TRA and EUSES). Martina provides strategic and technical support for authorisation applications under REACH (consulting on exemption strategies, analyses of alternatives and socio-economic assessment) and has presented at several conferences and workshops for the industry. She has supported the German electronic industry to comply with its obligations under REACH (including substances of very high concern (SVHC) declaration and substances restriction) through further development and implementation of BOMcheck, a web-tool developed in cooperation with Siemens.
