Brent Jones is a board-certified environmental engineer with more than 37 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering, with particular emphasis in project management, turnkey construction management and remediation. He has served as project manager or team leader for more than 1,200 environmental projects (RCRA, CERCLA and VCP). Brent is a member of Ramboll’s Site Solutions practice. He conducts NEPA reviews, environmental Phase I and Phase II assessments worldwide, and site assessment and voluntary closure projects in compliance with Texas and Louisiana risk-reduction requirements. Prior to joining Ramboll, Brent was president of ERM’s southwest construction management company (from 1989 to 2004) and co-leader of ERM’s national construction management practice (from 2001 to 2004). He was with Shell Oil Company from 1979 to 1989 and with the Tennessee Valley Authority from 1975 to1979. He earned a BS and an MS in civil engineering from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Brent is currently serving on Rice University’s Advisory Board, the American Academy Sustainability Committee, and as a board member of a municipal utility district.
