Steve McGinnis has a wide range of experience providing litigation consulting support to clients in allocation and/or insurance coverage cases, involving over 150 contaminated sites. He has used forensic methods, fate and transport modeling and other data analysis techniques to evaluate contamination sources and timing of property damage, nature and extent of contamination, rationality of site investigation and remediation, NCP consistency and environmental compliance status. He has also supported the development of litigation strategies, evaluated opposition in technical cases, managed large production databases and developed complex trial exhibits. Steve has also served as a lead engineer for investigations and remediation of sites under CERCLA, TSCA and various state cleanup programs, as well as a technical advisor for review and oversight of such activities. He has managed or conducted Phase I environmental assessments to identify environmental conditions at over 100 industrial and commercial facilities, and has provided environmental compliance assistance. Steve received a BS in environmental engineering from Kansas State University, and an MEng in civil and environmental engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is a certified professional engineer in the states of Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Florida, Iowa, Alabama, Oklahoma, Arkansas and North Dakota.
