Katrin Bindner is Director of Urbanism in Germany and the Global Lead of Data Centers at Henning Larsen, with over 25 years of experience in urban planning and design across the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East.

As Director of Urbanism in Germany and the Global Lead of Data Centers at Henning Larsen, Katrin is a creative leader in complex, large-scale developments, known for translating challenging briefs into clear, forward-looking design visions. Her work centers on transforming brownfield sites into sustainable urban districts, where the needs of people, ecology, and infrastructure are carefully balanced. She champions life-centric design as a structuring principle. Katrin brings a context-driven, deeply collaborative approach, ensuring alignment across clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.

At Henning Larsen, Katrin leads international urban design projects in early planning phases, including the winning competition entry for the Downsview masterplan in Toronto and the new urban district in Wolfsburg  in Germany.
