Jerry Campbell has over 20 years of experience in environmental health and toxicology, with particular expertise in developing physiologically based models and related applications for chemical risk assessments. He has experience with quantitative chemical risk assessment, including the incorporation of in vitro studies in assessing potential human health impacts, and interpreting human biomonitoring data in chemical exposure assessment. Jerry’s current research involves evaluating the relationship between exposure estimates and measured biomarkers for numerous chemicals and cumulative exposures; working with the physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model; and performing genomic and genetic analyses of liver and kidney toxicity. He serves as associate editor of the journal Toxicological Sciences. Jerry holds a BS and MS in environmental health, and a PhD in toxicology, from the University of Georgia.
