Chris Stubbs has over 15 years of experience in environmental science and engineering, with special emphasis on groundwater hydrology and chemical fate and transport in the environment. Specific areas of expertise include groundwater modeling, statistical analysis, risk-based site assessment and remediation, exposure analysis and human health risk assessment. He has prepared evaluations of the risk from vapor intrusion into indoor air at numerous sites, including preparing expert reports and giving deposition testimony as an expert witness. He has developed regional groundwater flow and transport models to evaluate remedial alternatives and to estimate cleanup times. Chris is currently serving on the ITRC project team on groundwater statistics. He is a professional civil engineer in California and has a PhD in hydrology and water resource engineering, an MS in environmental engineering, and an MS in technology and policy, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also received a BA in physics from the University of California at Berkeley.
