Leslie Herd has 33 years of environmental consulting experience, with a focus on environmental investigation and remediation. She has particular expertise in subsurface assessment and remediation, and regulatory compliance. Leslie has client and project management experience with a broad range of environmental projects, including federal and state Superfund, HSRA, Brownfield, and RCRA assessment and corrective action. She has planned, implemented and managed investigation and remediation activities at numerous active and inactive industrial sites in the southeastern and mid-Atlantic states. She has also managed environmental due diligence of single-site transactions and multiple-site portfolios for a range of commercial, light manufacturing and heavy industrial activities. Leslie has extensive client advocacy, regulatory negotiation, environmental compliance and site closure experience. She holds a BS in geology and biology from Vanderbilt University, and an MS in geology and petroleum geology from the University of Oklahoma.
