Why did you transfer from Ramboll India to the GEC ? “It offers me new opportunities to work more consistently on projects and adopt best practices and technologies following the relevant international standards.” How do GEC projects vary from your previous tasks? “I used to design highways for the Indian domestic market according to Indian standards. GEC projects give me a competitive platform for developing my technical and managerial skills. I worked on the Brunei Airport project, run from the Ramboll UK office. As a design manager, I was involved in quality checks and the timely delivery of project drawings.” Your dream project? “It would be to design a 10- to 12-lane expressway with all the system and service interchanges. I would also like to work on more challenging projects aimed at developing world-class infrastructure, as well as help build a stronger GEC team.”
