Janet McKinney has over 25 years’ experience in process design, engineering and operations support for industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment operations. Her work has an emphasis in innovative treatment process development, including various biological, as well as physical-chemical treatment methods for the removal of organic and inorganic wastewater contaminants and toxicity. She has previously served as the vice president/general manager for an industrial/municipal/military engineering and operations support group. Janet’s project work has focused on the management of industrial wastewater treatability and preliminary design engineering projects for major refinery and petrochemical clients in the United States and abroad. These projects include interface with clients in the development of a treatment design basis, testing of identified methodologies to achieve the required discharge requirements and preliminary engineering design of the selected process. Her work has also focused on regulatory support in identifying and defining compliance requirements associated with regulatory negotiation and permitting.
