Ted Bowie has over 20 years of experience consulting with clients on issues related to air quality and human health risk assessment. He has particular expertise in air permitting and compliance, air dispersion modeling, emission estimation and controls, odor assessment, risk assessment and industrial hygiene. Ted leverages his cross disciplinary background to deliver effective solutions to complex environmental problems for a wide range of clients, including waste management facilities, biotech companies, manufacturers, real estate developers, insurance brokers, port operators, public utilities, and trade organizations. He has provided litigation support on matters related to air emissions, air toxics risk assessment, odors, and indoor air quality. Ted has also designed and managed exposure monitoring programs for a variety of chemical and biological agents. He earned a BS and MS in mechanical engineering from Stanford University. Ted is a registered Professional Engineer (Mechanical) in California, Texas and Michigan, and a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) under the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
