Kimberly Schmidt Kuwabara has over 12 years of consulting experience, including due diligence, compliance assessment, remedial action, litigation support, insurance cost recovery and brownfield redevelopment projects. She has conducted due diligence environmental assessments of more than 75 industrial and commercial facilities throughout the US in order to assess the potential for significant environmental liabilities. She has also provided technical assistance to bring facilities into compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements. Kimberly has worked on various aspects of brownfield redevelopment projects, including providing technical assistance to identify potential source areas of contamination, and developing risk-based corrective action concentrations to be protective of future site occupants. She has provided technical support in property damage, toxic tort, cost allocation and insurance recovery litigation matters.Kimberly earned an MS in environmental engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a BS in environmental engineering from Cornell University.
