Sanna Tiainen-Erkkilä

Sanna Tiainen-Erkkilä works as the Head of Department in Air & Climate FI. She leads a department of about 35 experts. Sanna has M.Sc. in Environmental Technology. She has over 25 years of experience in monitoring and developing strategic targets and indicators related to the environment and climate change for power plants, industries, and public organisations, as well as in providing and managing expert services.
The department's experts perform emission measurements, noise and air quality measurements, modeling and studies, and occupational hygiene analyses. Studies can be conducted, among others, as a part of environmental impact assessment (EIA). Emissions into air are measured using accredited EN methods in accordance with environmental permit requirements and emission monitoring plans. The department also has only accredited odor laboratory in Finland.
