Dr. Christopher Buzgo has over 12 years of experience in environmental consulting, and over five years of experience as a research scientist. He has managed a wide range of environmental projects under various federal and state programs, involving site assessment, site remediation, human health and ecological risk assessment, brownfield redevelopment, remedial cost estimation, due diligence and indoor air quality evaluations. His recent experience includes remediation of solvent contamination in soil and groundwater at a dry cleaner site in New Jersey, using soil vapor extraction; human health and ecological risk assessments of soil, sediment, groundwater and surface water for manufacturing sites under the Pennsylvania Act 2 program; and RCRA facility investigations and corrective measures studies for industrial facilities in Ohio. Christopher has managed numerous projects involving vapor intrusion investigations and vapor mitigation system design, and has given presentations on vapor intrusion issues at national professional conferences. He has been successful in obtaining regulatory approval of vapor mitigation system designs and system verification procedures.
