Benedikt has more than eight years of experience in environment and health consultancy, specialising in health sciences. He has been involved with REACH processes since its initiation, and has experience working in various areas concerning chemical management and the risk and impact assessment of chemicals for clients from ministries, associations and industry. His work has included the management of full REACH registration dossiers including complete chemical safety assessments, and the running of several REACH consortia. Benedikt is supporting several large companies, SMEs and associations in the field of REACH, providing strategic and technical consulting and representative services to companies worldwide. He has recently managed several projects related to authorisation under REACH and has supported industry clients during substance evaluation processes. He is involved in a variety of projects for public clients such as the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the European Chemicals Agency. He holds a degree in food chemistry granted by the Bavarian State, and a PhD from the Technical University of Munich.
