M. Scott Weaver has 25 years of environmental consulting experience, with particular emphasis on business, operational and program management for major US environmental consultancies. Scott assembles and leads teams, and oversees delivery of environmental programs and projects for clients in a variety of industries. He serves as a strategic advisor and thought leader on complex environmental issues facing regulated industries with a focus on air quality and climate change regulation as well as sustainability matters, and is an expert on US emissions market programs. Scott also advises clients on environmental issues affecting capital investments for new developments and acquisition/divestiture of industrial assets or companies. He is active in a number of professional and trade groups including the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA), the Los Angeles County Business Federation (BizFed), the Los Angeles County Bar Association Environmental Law Section, and the Western States Petroleum Association (WSPA) Southern California Associates, among others. Scott is recognized as a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) by the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice and as a Certified Air Permitting Professional (CAPP) by the SJVAPCD. He holds a BS in chemical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
