Mr. Kristian Lund Jepsen is Senior Chief Consultant in Ramboll Oil & Gas' Piping & Mechanical department in Esbjerg. He has 30 years of experience within the oil and gas industry. Over the years a number of papers and articles by Kristian and various co-authors have been published on subjects such as codes and standards, national legislation etc. Kristian's extensive experience stems from a committed multi-disciplinary engineering background and an M.Sc. in mechanical engineering. Working for more than 3 decades within offshore, Kristian has comprehensive experience within project management, concept and detailed design, installation, completion, pre-commissioning, operation and maintenance of onshore and offshore oil/gas and chemical process facilities. He is a world class expert within pressure equipment (PED), piping specifications, calculations (ASME B31.3; EN 13480), offshore cranes (EN 13852) and ATEX Materials, material selection, metallurgy, corrosion and surface treatment as well as rotating machinery such as API gas compressors, gas turbines and pumps are further main areas of responsibility and expertise. His experience covers flare tips as well as refineries.
