We invite you to bring your knowledge on Water Networks projects into play, as you will be responsible for carrying out the network design for storm water, wastewater, drinking water, and other wet utilities networks. Also, responsible for carrying out the checks of the design and drawings produced by the CAD technicians in the team. To succeed in this role, you must have a sound knowledge and thorough understanding of principles of storm water management, sanitary management, and pressure water system. You will join our Water department

 As our new Engineer, in the WI team you will be part of Water department. As a member of the Water team, you will be responsible for carrying out the design for stormwater drainage and wastewater. Validation of existing drainage system and value engineering. Also, responsible for carrying out the checks of the drawings produced by CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables. You will be also doing stormwater management using SUDS, providing green and nature-based solutions. 

Key tasks and Responsibilities

• Development of base models in SewerGems/ Infodrainage/ Microdrainage, collaborate with relevant stakeholders. 

• Model optimization and validation. 

• Undertake engineering design tasks at all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with specifications.  

• Runoff assessment, Storm drainage planning, proposal of SUDS feature integration in drainage network system and design of proposed infrastructure.  

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of hydraulic and hydrological engineering principles.  

• Design drainage systems for transport and urban development projects; experience with data center and aviation drainage is an advantage.  

• Planning of future network as per construction phasing and optioneering in integration with existing infrastructure. 

• You will be responsible for preparation of technical reports, 3D model coordination, 2D layout drawings and standard details. 

• Engineer shall co-ordinate with Project Manager and Lead/Principal Engineer/Technical Manager and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings. 

• You shall co-ordinate & collaborate with his/her counterparts across the globe & in India while working on national/international projects.

• BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute. ME/ M. Tech in Environmental/Water resource would be key deciding factor 

• Should have at least 5 years of experience in stormwater drainage design and sewer design. Knowledge of design codes like BC codes, DMRB,ASCE, EPA, Euro Codes/CIRIA/ & Indian codes is desirable  

• Should have knowledge and understanding of principles of drainage designs for large residential developments, data center, airport, and rail environment. Experience in big infrastructure projects is desirable. 

• Should have hands on experience in using of the drainage design & modelling software like, Infodrianage/microdrainage, ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D.  

• In addition to the technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills. 

• Should be a team player and should coordinate within the team for timely delivery of project 

• Desirable Professional English language skills (written and verbal).
