Your New Role
As our new Structural Engineer you will be part of a highly skilled and experienced team of building design professionals who execute interesting and diverse projects in the municipal, industrial, institutional and commercial sectors. Our team is at the forefront of helping clients achieve their built environment goals emphasizing sustainability concepts. You will have opportunities to collaborate with design and construction professionals in all the Ramboll business units and organizations in the Americas and globally including Energy Transition, Environment & Health, Water, and Advanced Manufacturing.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Completing assignments requiring a knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals and the application of those fundamentals to the production of engineering deliverables
- Executing a variety of engineering tasks including the preparation of reports, investigatory studies, engineering design calculations, and Contract Documents
- Maintaining routine communications with the project team members during proposal, design and construction phases of a project
- Reviewing schedules and budgets of projects under their supervision
- Preparing proposals and conducting efforts supporting business development activities
- Performing detailed checking of work completed by others under their direct supervision
- Visiting project sites to review work in progress, gain field experience, and advance practical engineering skills
