Sarah has 11 years of multi-disciplinary consulting experience. She has worked on projects for public and private sector clients in the UK and overseas such as HS2, Highways England, BP and Network Rail. She provides GIS analysis and data management solutions for a wide variety of disciplines, most significantly for the environment, water, highways, rail, planning, nuclear and energy sectors. Notable projects include High Speed Two, the UAE Holistic Plan, a spatial planning strategy for the Ministry of Public Works and wind farm layout analysis and environmental constraints assessment for an offshore wind farm on behalf of E.ON. She specialises in data management, 2D spatial analysis, 3D modelling and applying cartographic principles to GIS outputs. She began her career as a Mapping and Charting Officer at the Ministry of Defence. After a role as an Image Analyst at the Defence Geographic Centre, she transferred to Defence Estates where she was a Geographic Information Officer as part of the Renewable Energy and Statutory Safeguarding team. Sarah is a Chartered Geographer, Fellow of the British Cartographic Society and member of the GIS SIG. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Northumbria.
