Andrew Bryant has been Project Director on some of the UK's largest contracts, including the New Line Capacity Study (Department for Transport), DLR Dagenham Dock Extension, Heathrow Airtrack, and HS2.
Andrew has worked continuously on HS2 since its inception in 2009, including as Project Manager on Appraisals of Sustainability for Phase 1 and Phase 2; member of the ETM consortium leadership team for the HS2 Phase 1 EIA and hybrid Bill (London and Country South); Temple Project Director for our HS2 Phase 2b EIA team; Project Director for several HS2 Enabling and Main Works Contracts, including HS2 Area Central (Fusion and EKFB), HS2 Area South (CSJV and SCS), and HS2 Phase 2a (Kier). He has led partnerships with key environmental consultants and has been a core influencer in other infrastructure projects, including a strategic advisor on the Crossrail 2 sustainability strategy (TfL).
Before joining Ramboll, Andrew spent ten years at the NSW Department of Planning (Australia), where he specialised in natural resource management in land use planning and development control, statutory frameworks and policy, including planning frameworks for the Georges River Catchment and legislative frameworks for threatened species and for native vegetation control.
