Alma is skilled in directing a spectrum of health risk assessment programs ranging from studies supporting complex, multi-operable unit sites to streamlined risk evaluations and in negotiating work scopes and cleanup criteria with regulatory representatives. She is also skilled in performing detailed exposure evaluation, community health and biomonitoring, metals bioavailability, and wild food studies. Additional areas of her expertise include communicating risks to a variety of audiences, supporting permitting processes, and leading environmental justice analyses.
