Tiziana Di Marco

Tiziana Di Marco has more than nine years of experience in environmental consulting, specialising in environmental impact assessment (EIA), Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC), air quality assessment and other permitting procedures mainly for industrial plants. She also has expertise of indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring, both designing and undertaking monitoring plans, and performing best available techniques (BAT) gap analysis to control and abate emissions. Much of her work is focused assisting environmental permitting for clients in a variety of sectors including power generation (wind power, PV and turbo-gas), petrochemical and chemical production, pharmaceutical (in particular, cement plants and aluminum production) and manufacturing. Her focus is mainly on Italian projects, but she has also gained international expertise with industrial plants located in Israel, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria and Nigeria. She has worked on the remediation of contaminated sites, with specific expertise in the characterisation of active and inactive industrial sites, designing and carrying out of groundwater and soil remediation, monitoring during and after the activities, and site-specific risk assessment. Tiziana holds a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering from University "La Sapienza", Rome, Italy.
