Jelena Popovic is an atmospheric scientist with over 20 years of experience, providing expert guidance on air quality and climate change impacts. She specializes in air dispersion modeling (CALPUFF, AERMOD, and other models), evaluating the health and environmental impacts of emissions to support clients in litigation, research, and air permitting. She leads air quality assessments for a wide range of sources, including complex industrial facilities, power generation, mining, data centers, dust-prone areas, odor-emitting sources, pesticide applications, accidental fires, EtO sterilizers, facilities using or producing PFAS. Her experience also includes WRF simulations, data analytics, climate model processing, air dispersion and meteorological model performance evaluations, and the implementation of automated systems for air quality forecasting. Jelena earned an MS in Atmospheric Sciences from MIT and a BS in Meteorology from the University of Belgrade.
