Andrew R. Bonas

Drew Bonas has nearly 20 years of experience in environmental consulting. He has assisted various private equity firms, manufacturing companies, real estate investment trusts, and lenders in the evaluation of potential environmental liabilities associated with merger and acquisition (M&A) targets with facilities and/or assets in North America, South America, Europe, Australia and Asia. He has managed soil and groundwater investigation and remediation activities for various chemicals, metals, radionuclides and non-aqueous phase liquids at sites throughout North America, and has obtained regulatory closure for numerous sites. Drew has also provided litigation support in matters regarding the divisibility of costs associated with CERCLA actions and remedy implementation; accruals for retained, contingent environmental liabilities consistent with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) standards; claims for coverage of environmental matters by insurers; and responsibility for environmental investigation and remediation in the context of property transactions. He currently serves as the Finance Committee chair for the Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association in New Jersey.
