Tom Griffiths

Tom Griffiths has a BSc in Management and chemistry from the University of Manchester and an MSc in environmental consultancy from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Tom is an environmental and sustainability professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the field. Over the last 15 years, his work has focused on product sustainability, leading large multi-national companies across several different sectors including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, manufacturing, oil and gas, and automotive, to meet their obligations under REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals), CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging), and other EU and worldwide chemical legislation. Tom’s recent focus has been on the impacts risk management measures, such as Authorisation and Restriction, have on companies operating in the EU and UK. As part of this work, Tom is a member of Ramboll's Health Sciences Spearhead, which is developing strategies to address such challenges across the globe.
