Phil Hodges

Phil Hodges is the Global Service Line Director for Power Systems at Ramboll. Phil has more than 20 years of experience in engineering, project management, and strategic leadership across the defence and energy sectors.

As director for Ramboll’s Power Systems Global Service Line, Phil leads 200 specialists who deliver transmission and distribution design for TSOs/DSOs, grid connection and power systems for wind and solar developers, solar and BESS project development, on-site generation and electrical services for industrial and data centre clients, and grid stabilisation technologies (FACTS, synchronous condensers, HVDC). Phil combines extensive business management and turnaround experience with technical knowledge across renewables, nuclear operations, transmission & distribution, and corporate governance, focusing on growth, operational excellence and client-focused energy solutions.
