Megan Neiderhiser

Megan Neiderhiser has over 20 years of experience in air quality management, specifically air dispersion modeling, air permitting and compliance, CEQA/SEPA analysis, human health risk assessment, and NEPA evaluation. Megan’s expertise also covers emissions estimation, greenhouse gas management, and sustainability planning. Megan leads Ramboll's Salt Lake City, Utah office and serves as the Northwest region Air & Climate Practice leader, which includes over 75 practitioners across Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Northern California. She has worked closely with several air agencies in her project director role, including BLM, CDPHE, FAA, IDEQ, PSCAA, UDAQ, and USEPA Region 8. Megan also has extensive experience with a multitude of emissions and modeling software tools, including AEDT, AERMOD, CalEEMod, and MOVES. Megan works regularly with industrial, mining, tech, and public entity clients, and sits on Ramboll’s Data Center Air Quality Task Force. She also has specialized experience in the airport sector and recently served as the Air Quality Working Group Co-Chair for the Airports Council International – North America Environmental Affairs Committee Steering Group. Megan received an MS in environmental engineering from the University of California Berkeley and a BS in environmental engineering from Tufts University (magna cum laude). She is a registered Professional Engineer in Utah and Colorado.
