Project Manager - Transmission and Distribution

If this sounds like you, then this position could be the right opportunity. Join our Power Systems Transmission and Distribution team as our new Project Manager for electrical, control and protection projects. 

Your new role
As our new Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-voltage substation projects across Denmark. You will bring your expertise in electrical substations and proven experience in successful project execution to a variety of exciting national projects.

Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle from initial concept development and action planning to specification, design, procurement, and onsite supervision. These projects are executed in a highly professional and collaborative environment, where you will work alongside skilled colleagues committed to excellence and innovation.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Developing project plans: Establish timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
  • Coordinating with stakeholders: Work closely with engineers and contractors to ensure the integration of electrical systems
  • Overseeing installation: Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
  • Maintaining documentation: Keep clear and accurate project records and documentation
  • Issue management: Address and resolve any problems that arise during the project lifecycle
  • Client communication: Keep clients and team members informed and the project on track
  • Quality control: Perform checks and validations to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical installations

About you

We are looking for someone who is not only adept in their technical field but also driven by a commitment to the green transition and learning. We will nurture your career trajectory from day one, but we also expect certain qualifications:

  • Proven project management experience, 4+ years
  • Experience in applying current electrical legislation BEK 1608 and EN 50110 standards
  • Background from consultancy, industry, suppliers, or similar
  • A degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • Beneficial if you have experience in electrical design for transmission & distribution grids
  • Possess a valid driver’s license (Category B)
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Danish
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge
