Financial Project Coordinator

Your new role

Our vision, ‘Collaboration Counts’ is to have ‘Engaged employees delivering insightful analysis to drive and support business success’. As a project business, the Financial Project Coordinator role is key to delivering on this vision. The role partners with Project Managers, supporting them with project finance insight to help drive the financial success of their projects.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Project Support  

  • Project creation, maintenance and monitoring
  • Periodic budget updates and estimate to complete tools 
  • Ensuring project compliance and governance  
  • Review invoicing plan and release of invoices for payment 
  • Identify Risk and Commercial opportunities 

Monthly Reporting  

  • Variance analysis of project costs 
  • Monthly reviews with PM’s - provide project status updates 
  • Monthly reviews with the Project and Business Controllers  
  • Ad hoc analysis 

Your new team

The role will be within the Business Finance team in the UK. You will work with all members of the Finance Team, Project Managers and colleagues across the UK business, providing project finance support. You will be a team player with initiative and a can-do attitude. Come on board with this great team and be part of our future success.

  • Effective communication: You will be confident in communicating with all levels and disciplines, not afraid to positively challenge, a good listener, with empathy, showing respect to people and their ideas in line with Ramboll’s strong values. 
  • Attention to detail: Detailed focused individual, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience: Experience and understanding of project management and/or commercial awareness desired. Prior experience on Maconomy ideal but not essential.  
  • Financial qualification: Full study support can be provided, subject to individual performance and career progression
  • Excel skills: Intermediate, with experience using VLOOKUPS and PIVOTS.
